Job Summary

Provide on-site service support for collaboration technology customers in partnership with the Global Helpdesk. Diagnose and resolve issues to restore functionality, performing preventative maintenance, cleaning AV equipment, and installing control programs using AMX/Crestron and firmware. Support networked device troubleshooting, install and mount equipment and cabling, troubleshoot video codecs, and travel to customer sites as needed while following OSHA standards.

Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

•Partner with the Global Helpdesk to provide customer service support at customer sites.
•Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints.
•Perform preventative maintenance and clean AV equipment (e.g., camera lenses, monitors, equipment fans).
•Install control programs (AMX/Crestron) and perform upload/download capability tasks.
•Setup, troubleshoot video codecs, and travel to customer sites to complete service tasks while following OSHA standards.

Key Requirements

•Communicate effectively with employees, customers, and colleagues while working independently to meet deadlines.
•Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
•Have basic computer knowledge and understand basic signal flow for audio, video, and control.
•Perform hands-on work including soldering and crimping connectors.
•Fluency in Japanese and English, with full working rights in Japan.
