Key Responsibilities

  • •Review construction-related contracts and loan documents prior to closing to ensure alignment with bank policies, procedures, and approval structure.
  • •Lead review and funding of complex commercial construction loans by analyzing budgets, sufficiency of supporting documentation, and ensuring projects remain in balance.
  • •Coordinate review and resolution of issues in third-party plan/spec and cost reports, including monthly draw request support.
  • •Oversee post-closing construction documentation collection, reconcile equity documentation to approved contribution requirements, and ensure lien waivers and title updates are accurate.
  • •Approve construction loan disbursements, communicate progress/issues to LOB and Credit Risk partners, maintain construction files on shared drives/CLA SharePoint, and mentor more junior team members.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 96,500 - 207,500 annually

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of closing and administering complex commercial construction loans.
  • •5+ years of credit analysis and/or loan review experience, preferably commercial construction in the banking industry.
  • •Proven ability to identify construction risks and recommend solutions to mitigate them.
  • •Strong written and oral communication skills and customer service/problem-solving ability.
  • •Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to execute with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
