Job Summary

Lead the MEP team delivering technical advisory services across condition surveying and asset data collection, compliance audits, Independent Certifier/Tester services, and technical due diligence for PPP projects. Provide independent engineering advice to lenders and investors, manage IC services day to day across multiple projects, and produce well-documented qualitative and quantitative analysis. Collaborate with clients, manage budgets and deadlines, and help develop new opportunities and workstreams while supporting a national approach with flexible travel.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and support the team delivering technical advisory services including condition surveying, asset data collection, compliance audits, technical due diligence reviews, and lifecycle/maintenance assessments.
•Provide independent engineering advice to lenders and investors in the property and construction sectors.
•Provide day-to-day project management of Independent Certifier (IC) services across several projects.
•Deliver well-documented quantitative and qualitative analysis with clear, reliable inputs and outputs.
•Consult extensively with clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring budgets are adhered to and deadlines are met, and support development of new opportunities and workstreams.

Key Requirements

•A qualification in Building Services, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering (e.g., BSc, BTEC, HND/HNC or similar).
•Professional registration as a CEng or IEng (membership of MCIBSE, MIMechE, or MIET advantageous) or a desire to progress towards this.
•Client-facing communication skills with the ability to present proposals and agree a course of action.
•Ability to lead and develop your team for success, while being organized and able to manage schedules.
•Excellent IT skills, particularly with Excel; ideally experience in MEP asset surveying or Hard FM.
