Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare and process customs entries and inbound transactions in accordance with customs laws, regulations, and procedures.
  • •Classify goods using the HTS tariff system and determine required duties, taxes, and fees.
  • •Submit and monitor customs entries via ABI/ACE in compliance with CBP and PGA requirements.
  • •Verify invoices, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and supporting import documentation, including commodity descriptions, country of origin, valuation, and regulatory admissibility.
  • •Handle post-entry tasks such as corrections, PSC’s, protests, and refunds where applicable, and support internal audits.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED required; a degree in International Trade, Supply Chain, or Business is preferred.
  • •1–3 years of customs brokerage or import operations experience.
  • •Proficiency with brokerage systems (CargoWise, ACE, ABI).
  • •Strong knowledge of CBP regulations, HTS classification, valuation, Incoterms, and PGA requirements.
  • •CCS certification or a U.S. Customs Broker License is a plus.
