Job Summary

Provide specialist subject-matter expertise to develop the functional design and systems architecture for the Above Water Surveillance system, including components, interfaces, and data used for development and production. Report contractual and performance requirements through design, build, integration, installation, and commissioning, manage supplier requirement flow-down and acceptance of deliverables, and offer technical support to combat system engineers. Lead and mentor within the team supporting UK defence programmes.

•Develop functional design and define systems architecture, components, interfaces, and data for the Above Water Surveillance system.
•Report contractual and performance requirements and acceptance criteria for communication products and associated sub-systems through build and commissioning activities.
•Support flow-down of requirements to suppliers and manage acceptance of deliverables.
•Provide specialist technical support for installation, integration, and commissioning activities to combat system engineers.
•Provide specialist knowledge and subject-matter expertise throughout design, build, integration, installation and commissioning.

•Awareness of product safety and SHE aspects.
