Job Summary

Provide plant engineering design and support for power operations, including capital projects, environmental and NERC compliance, and operational/maintenance consulting. Partner with Maintenance and Operations to troubleshoot equipment, lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Failure Modes Effects Analysis (FMEA), and evaluate performance using operational and maintenance data. Maintain and review planned maintenance activities for control systems, coordinate contractors, and prepare project scopes and material specifications with budgetary support.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide technical expertise to resolve and prevent equipment problems.
•Lead or participate in plant RCA and FMEA to ensure timely corrective actions and repairs or modifications.
•Perform periodic maintenance and troubleshooting of instrument and control equipment (including DCS, Mark Ve, and PLCs).
•Analyze, monitor, and report plant and system performance and condition using operational and maintenance data.
•Develop/review planned maintenance (PM) activities for control systems and direct contractors to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and schedules.

Key Requirements

•4+ years of progressive work experience in electrical power generation or related fields.
•Technical knowledge of power plant operations and maintenance, including performance calculations and practices.
•Ability to maintain DCS, Mark Ve, programmable logic controllers, and field devices (transmitters, control valves, meters, process analytical devices).
•Strong computer skills with spreadsheets, databases, word processing, and project software.
•High school diploma or equivalent required; BS in Engineering or related experience preferred.
