Key Responsibilities

  • •Run MRP and BOM explosions against the Master Production Schedule, netting gross requirements against on-hand, on-order, and in-transit materials.
  • •Maintain and refresh Clear-to-Build (CTB) coverage status by SKU and work center for assigned commodities on a standing cadence.
  • •Identify potential material shortages ahead of floor execution and escalate to Strategic Sourcing/Procurement for expedite or dual-sourcing actions while tracking mitigation.
  • •Share rolling supplier forecasts, secure lead-time and capacity commitments, and feed commitments back into MRP within negotiated commercial frameworks.
  • •Set and maintain ERP planning parameters (order policy, lot sizing, lead times, safety stock, make/buy flags, and time fences) and support inventory reconciliation and ABC usage classification.

Key Requirements

  • •2–5+ years of experience in material planning, MRP execution, or supply/demand planning in a manufacturing environment.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • •Strong grasp of MRP logic, complex BOM structures, and ERP planning modules (e.g., Acumatica).
