Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage MRO materials supply by understanding business needs and contributing to materials strategy for external MRO support.
  • •Execute Heavy Maintenance materials and freight contractual strategy, working with cross-functional teams to provide regular updates to stakeholders and engineering senior management.
  • •Action AOG, critical, and routine requisitions, monitoring part movements to ensure availability for planned maintenance and defect rectification while minimizing Heavy Maintenance deferrals.
  • •Run mailbox management for purchasing, repairs, and logistics requirements, and support vendor management meetings with correlating vendor KPIs.
  • •Provide Materials & Logistics reporting by developing databases for C check activities and reporting/analysing Heavy Maintenance spend and freight cost per event to support continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum five years of procurement (purchasing or repairs) or logistics experience, preferably in an operational environment.
  • •A degree in a relevant field such as business management or logistics is preferred.
  • •Effective written and verbal communication, including the ability to communicate and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • •An understanding of aircraft maintenance materials and a working knowledge of MIS and Microsoft Office applications.
  • •5 years relevant experience in aviation industry, preferably with experience at a high capacity passenger transport operator.
