Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as APS Americas HSE subject matter expert and functional leader for GoalZERO programs across U.S. and Mexico manufacturing.
  • •Provide governance and oversight of HSE management systems, tools, and processes to ensure alignment with Operational Excellence expectations.
  • •Support incident investigations and high-potential events, and drive effective root cause analysis, corrective actions, and verification.
  • •Analyze leading and lagging HSE indicators to identify trends and vulnerabilities and develop regional risk reduction strategies.
  • •Support HSE audits, management system reviews, regulatory inspections, environmental stewardship, and emergency preparedness/response activities.
Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health & Safety, or related technical discipline.
  • •Minimum 8 years of experience supporting HSE programs within chemical, polymers, polymer compounding, specialty chemicals, or related industrial operations.
  • •Demonstrated experience leading HSE improvement initiatives supporting manufacturing operations.
  • •Working knowledge of applicable OSHA, EPA, environmental, occupational health, and safety regulatory requirements.
  • •Experience supporting audits, incident investigations, corrective action management, and compliance programs.
