Job Summary

Own solution architecture for a defence program from proposal through transition into operation, defining architectures with design teams and ensuring functional and non-functional requirements are met. Lead early design and estimation, manage technical and solution risks, and represent engineering work to executives. Advise clients and teams on complex solutions, leveraging BAE Systems IP to conceive and deliver secure, data-centric cloud-enabled capabilities across the full solution lifecycle.

•Engage clients across the full solution lifecycle, addressing challenges from proposal to in-service realisation.
•Define and lead the development of solution architectures with other design team members.
•Retain overall ownership through delivery and transition into operation.
•Ensure designs meet key functional and non-functional requirements and manage technical/solution risks.
•Lead early design and estimation efforts to understand solution costs and delivery timescales for business winning.

•Own and manage technical and solution risks, working to reduce and mitigate them early.
