Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage financial planning, including annual budgeting and monthly forecasting cycles.
  • •Review the reasonableness of assumptions used in planning projections and business cases.
  • •Ensure accuracy of monthly management reports and presentation materials for senior management, regional offices, and governance bodies.
  • •Monitor and analyze financial performance versus budgets, flag significant deviations, and recommend corrective actions.
  • •Conduct expense analysis and collaborate with the Actuarial team on expense methodologies, including IFRS 17 attributable expense analysis.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy and/or professional qualifications such as ACCA or CPA (or equivalent).
  • •At least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably with an audit background.
  • •Experience in the insurance industry is an added advantage.
  • •Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage internal stakeholders across functions.
  • •Meticulous with strong analytical skills and sound commercial acumen; positive attitude to meet deadlines and targets.
