Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform specific and moderate portions of broader PHE & fire (MEP) assignments as an experienced engineer.
  • •Gather and correlate basic engineering data using established procedures; work on routine engineering assignments involving calculations and simple tests.
  • •Propose approaches to solve new problems by modifying standard procedures or methods from prior assignments.
  • •Independently complete all tasks necessary to deliver primary design elements for engineering works and perform quality control reviews of design calculations/drawings.
  • •Provide guidance to entry-level engineers and perform work in accordance with agreed budget and schedule with little supervision.

Key Requirements

  • •Graduate in Mechanical Engineering.
  • •3+ years total experience in design of Plumbing & Firefighting (PHE & Fire) with strong, well-rounded MEP design knowledge.
  • •Good experience working in a GDC type of environment; 3–6 years relevant experience in GDC environments is required.
  • •Strong Revit experience and ability to independently complete primary design elements and perform quality control on design calculations/drawings.
  • •Awareness of international codes and standards such as NFPA, ME codes, IPC, and ASHRAE/CIBSE; energy modeling software knowledge is a plus.
