Job Summary

Provide effective instruction in general faculty subjects and specialized nursing-related courses for second-language learners within a student-centered environment. Contribute to system-wide strategy and faculty/division policies, deliver practical applied teaching aligned to syllabi and program goals, and support student success through assessment, advising, and continuous feedback. Conduct applied research aligned to faculty interests and the national innovation agenda, and serve on committees, conferences, and student group initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

•Contribute to the implementation of HCT’s system-wide strategy and assist with faculty/division policy development.
•Teach courses aligned with course syllabus and program goals, using educational technology and second-language learning strategies.
•Provide continuous feedback, monitor student progress, evaluate students, and update grades; contribute to question banks/coursework assessments.
•Serve as a student advisor as assigned, maintain office hours, and support students during internships and work placements.
•Conduct applied research, participate in conferences, and serve on faculty/program/campus/system-wide committees and student activities.

Key Requirements

•A Ph.D. in a relevant discipline is required where applicable.
•Or a Master’s degree and a professional certification relevant to the discipline with 5 years of teaching and industry experience.
•Or a Bachelor’s degree may be considered for candidates with extensive industry experience and industry certification as per discipline requirement.
•A minimum of 3 years teaching experience in the relevant discipline.
•Experience developing course curriculum aligned with accreditation and international standards.
