Key Responsibilities

  • •Independently manage the full-cycle payroll process for employees across the United States and Canada, ensuring accurate and timely payroll delivery.
  • •Validate and process payroll transactions for hires, terminations, transfers, compensation changes, benefits deductions, tax updates, and time/attendance records.
  • •Perform payroll audits, reconciliations, balancing activities, and post-payroll validation to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
  • •Serve as the subject matter expert for U.S. payroll tax requirements and Canadian federal/provincial payroll regulations, including audits, notices, and compliance reviews.
  • •Administer and optimize payroll systems as the system subject matter expert, including ADP Workforce Now administration and optimization, while improving procedures and documenting controls.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • •Minimum 7 years of progressive payroll administration experience.
  • •Hands-on experience managing full-cycle payroll for both the United States and Canada.
  • •Extensive payroll tax compliance and regulatory experience across multiple U.S. states and Canadian provinces.
  • •Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, reconciliations, pivot tables, and complex formulas.
