Key Responsibilities

  • •Apply corporate actions for constituents in assigned indices using SPDJI proprietary systems according to index methodology and validate special treatment items.
  • •Conduct analytical research to determine index composition by interpreting complex index methodology and adjusting calculation data to conform to index rules.
  • •Perform index rebalances by running models and research for adds/drops, implementing methodology-driven changes, and communicating them to clients.
  • •Serve on index committees and present original, non-routine analysis supporting the indices you manage.
  • •Manage relationships across departments (Product Management, Client Coverage, Index Services, IT Support) and coordinate with technology/production support to enhance system capabilities.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree required with a focus in math, economics, or finance (or related fields).
  • •At least 2 years of professional experience working directly with Equity Indices, asset management, trade operations, or related roles.
  • •A strong understanding of global financial markets, particularly Equity market dynamics, regulations, and best practices.
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Python and experience with process automation is a plus.
  • •Excellent analytical and quantitative skills on large data sets, with the ability to work independently across multiple projects.
