Join the Video and Edge Global Engineering team to build and operate the infrastructure behind TikTok’s video on-demand and live streaming experiences. You’ll work on multi-media transport, storage, and processing systems, support production operations with monitoring and on-call readiness, and develop automation and observability tooling. Key Responsibilities

•Build global infrastructure for multi-media transport, storage, and processing to serve billions of users.
•Support global production system management including monitoring, on-call emergency response, and capacity planning/optimization.
•Build tools and automations for observability and monitoring to operate and optimize global infrastructure.
•Improve the service lifecycle from inception and design through deployment, operation, and refinement.
•Scale systems sustainably via automation and initiate changes to improve reliability and processing speed.

Key Requirements

•Upcoming graduate or graduated within the last 12 months before onboarding in 2026.
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical background involving software/system engineering, or equivalent experience.
•Good programming experience in at least one of: C, C++, Java, Python, or Go.
•Knowledge of networking, operating systems, database systems, and container technology.
•Understanding of microservice architecture and troubleshooting in large-scale distributed systems.
