Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop electrical schematics, power system single line diagrams, system interconnect diagrams and define wire harnesses that connect electronic equipment within a subsystem and between subsystems
  • •Design electrical interfaces and enclosures for integration of sensors, and peripheral equipment with autonomous systems
  • •Troubleshoot issues that span the electrical and software boundaries, with solid skills using both test equipment (Oscilloscopes, DMM, etc.) and basic software debugging tools
  • •Develop subsystems (sensors, interfaces, power management, and networking) for bespoke capabilities
  • •Work closely with other electrical, mechanical, software, firmware, and test engineers to deliver fully functional products

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with 8+ years of experience designing, testing, and troubleshooting electrical systems
  • •Knowledge of modern analog and digital electronics and electronic circuits
  • •Experience developing schematics, interconnect diagrams, and wiring harnesses
  • •Comfortable with a variety of electronic CAD tools (NX, SolidWorks, others acceptable)
  • •Familiarity with networking and standard interfaces such as Ethernet, CAN, I2C, USB, MODBUS, ProfiNet, etc
