Job Summary

Lead and manage aviation design projects from concept through construction for airfield, landside, terminal, and airport infrastructure programs. Direct multidisciplinary teams, develop scopes, schedules, budgets, and technical approaches, and ensure compliance with FAA design standards, advisory circulars, and relevant regulations. Oversee design quality, constructability reviews, risk management, and coordinate with airport owners, airlines, regulators, and stakeholders, while also supporting business development and client account growth.

•Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, staffing plans, and technical approaches.
•Ensure compliance with FAA design standards, airport design criteria, and applicable regulations while overseeing design quality and constructability reviews.
•Support business development and client account activities, and mentor junior engineers and project managers.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering, planning, or architecture discipline.
•12+ years of aviation engineering or planning experience focused on airport infrastructure projects.
•Engineering License or ability to obtain a license (additional experience may be considered in lieu).
•Strong knowledge of FAA design standards, airport design criteria, and regulatory requirements.
•Experience managing multidisciplinary design teams and complex aviation projects, including PANYNJ airport redevelopment program experience.
