Key Responsibilities

  • •Advise clients on cost strategies for commercial real estate projects, including TI and ground-up developments, and chair bid interviews and contractor appointment processes.
  • •Develop and review detailed project estimates across all phases, present estimates to clients, and provide value engineering and risk assessment recommendations.
  • •Establish and manage cost reporting schedules, review and present cost reports and forecasts, track budgets and spend forecasts, maintain commercial risk registers, and run regular cost review meetings.
  • •Oversee cost control by reviewing payment applications, coordinating with project managers on entitlements, evaluating change orders, and supporting dispute avoidance and resolution practices.
  • •Lead final accounting activities, including post-contract audits and project closeouts, and develop procedures for project handover and continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related construction field.
  • •3–5 years of experience in cost management or quantity surveying supporting commercial real estate construction projects (TI, interior fit-out, or ground-up).
  • •RICS accredited or actively working toward accreditation (preferred).
  • •Experience supporting cost management on medium to large-scale commercial construction projects.
  • •Strong understanding of construction methodologies, procurement strategies, value engineering, and cost planning for commercial interiors and base building construction.
