Own cloud networking across the engineering organization, architecting, building, and operating the network foundation used by platform and product teams. Key Responsibilities

•Architect, build, and operate the cloud networking foundation for platform and product teams
•Design and deploy IPv6-native VPC architecture and bring up IPv6 networking for EKS workloads
•Define long-term strategy for addressing, connecting, and scaling the network as providers expand
•Establish standards and raise the organization’s networking competency as the first dedicated networking role
•Set technical direction and communicate tradeoffs to engineers and senior stakeholders

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 180,000 - 280,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Deep, hands-on AWS networking expertise with production experience at scale
•Strong vendor-agnostic networking fundamentals (IPv4/IPv6, routing, DNS, TCP/IP, BGP, NAT)
•Demonstrated history of setting technical direction and establishing standards across an organization
•Proven IPv6 experience in a cloud or large network environment, including deployment and troubleshooting
•Experience with VPCs, transit/peering, IPAM, and private connectivity; ideally also another provider
