Job Summary

Build and deploy software and automated test scripts for semi-automated and fully automated test equipment used in semiconductor manufacturing. Own system-level architecture and tool operation to configure validated test sequences, manage data logging and reporting for troubleshooting, and support integration and functional verification across hardware and software layers. Collaborate with engineering and program stakeholders, maintain version-controlled software assets, and provide technical support and best-known methods to operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, develop, debug, and deploy software and test scripts for functional testing using semi ATEs and ATEs.
•Understand system-level architecture and tool operation to configure and validate test sequences.
•Identify test requirements from hardware functionality and process behavior, and propose solutions to improve test coverage and automation.
•Maintain software assets using version control for traceability and future upgrades.
•Architect and manage data logging, analysis, and reporting to support validation and troubleshooting; assist with integration and functional verification.

Key Requirements

•6-10 years of relevant industry experience in system and test development for manufacturing tools and test environments.
•Hands-on experience developing and configuring test fixture software and automated testing scripts for semi ATEs and ATEs.
•Strong programming and scripting skills with C#/.NET (OOP, WPF, MVVM, dependency injection) plus C and Python.
•Working knowledge of communication protocols and data/IO interfaces such as Serial (RS-232/422/485), DeviceNet, EtherCAT, Modbus, TCP/IP sockets, and VISA.
•Experience with test systems and hardware behavior (ATE, NI CDAQ/Beckhoff IOs, sensors, motion control, signal flow, interlocks) with strong communication and analytical skills.
