Key Responsibilities

  • •Contribute to delivery of building services projects from concept through to completion as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • •Support electrical design by contributing to system load calculations, circuit design, cable sizing, and lighting calculations.
  • •Help coordinate and size plant rooms and distribution routes, and prepare technical reports for each design stage.
  • •Assist with developing technical specifications and evaluating technical options, documenting design decisions.
  • •Support design progression through concept, developed, and detailed stages, including site inspections and commissioning monitoring.

Key Requirements

  • •An accredited Bachelor’s degree (minimum 2:1 or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
  • •Degree accreditation by a relevant professional institution such as CIBSE, IET, or IMechE is preferred.
  • •A strong interest in building services, sustainable design, and multidisciplinary project delivery.
  • •Relevant industry experience through internships, placements, work experience, or project-based activities would be advantageous.
  • •Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, BIM processes, or electrical design software would be beneficial but is not essential.
