Key Responsibilities

  • •Optimize comminution circuit performance by monitoring daily throughput, identifying deviations from critical parameters, and developing short- and long-term solutions to close gaps.
  • •Monitor and adjust crushing circuit performance (e.g., crusher gaps and met checks) to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
  • •Track and report crushing, milling, and classification KPIs; produce daily, weekly, and monthly performance summaries.
  • •Perform routine inspections and PSD work, including inspections of crushers/mills/classifiers/screens and monthly belt cuts and full plant surveys.
  • •Support operations through troubleshooting and continuous improvement, including grinding media and classification monitoring, liner wear monitoring with FARO 3D scanners, documentation/reporting, and cross-department coordination.

Key Requirements

  • •Full grade 12 certificate.
  • •Minimum diploma in metallurgy, chemical engineering or related field.
  • •Computer literate in the Microsoft Office package.
  • •At least 1 year of relevant experience in a plant environment (desired).
  • •Strong analytical and data analysis skills with problem-solving expertise.
