Key Responsibilities

  • •Work with the Project Manager to manage agreed contracts with external design consultants and take appropriate action if duties are not discharged.
  • •Manage multi-disciplinary engineering teams to produce project solutions at the required design level.
  • •Evaluate designs and solutions to ensure they meet project requirements.
  • •Collaborate with technical, operational, maintenance, and strategic stakeholders and design coordinators.
  • •Liaise with clients, Engineering Managers, Project Managers, Contractors, and Consultants on project issues, scope changes, and risks.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 5 years of design and management experience.
  • •Manage design through the full project lifecycle across a range of sectors and procurement routes.
  • •Strong understanding of integrated design delivery and managing consultant performance.
  • •Knowledge and experience of Building Information Modelling (BIM) and common data environments (CDE).
  • •Degree/HNC qualified (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline (Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical), with strong construction design knowledge and CAD experience (AutoCAD or Revit).
