Key Responsibilities

  • •Take end-to-end ownership of the Atlassian toolchain, with primary focus on Jira’s design, governance, configuration, integration, and performance.
  • •Architect and maintain automation solutions that streamline software development workflows and accelerate feature delivery.
  • •Design and implement integrations across Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Artifactory, and other business systems using Python and RESTful APIs.
  • •Lead technical delivery of requirements into well-tested code and application configurations, and mentor junior team members in best practices.
  • •Identify automation and process improvement opportunities, resolve complex engineering problems through appropriate testing, and lead change initiatives across the organization.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven experience administering and owning Atlassian Jira at enterprise scale.
  • •Deep expertise in Jira configuration (workflows, schemes, permissions, automation) and core Atlassian tools (Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo).
  • •Strong experience designing scalable Jira frameworks and governance models.
  • •Hands-on experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and integration patterns, plus scripting/automation using Python (and Groovy or similar).
  • •Understanding of DevOps principles and Agile methodologies, including authentication mechanisms (SSO, LDAP, OAuth) and SDLC toolchain integration (CI/CD, SCM, testing, artifact management).
