Key Requirements

  • •Associate’s, Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. degree in an engineering discipline (or similar technical discipline).
  • •Experience matching the degree level (e.g., 20 years with Associate’s, 10 years with Bachelor’s, 8 years with Master’s, or 5 years with Ph.D.), or prior Development Engineer II experience at First Solar.
  • •Technical expertise in photovoltaic processes and/or equipment development, with strong focus on materials science and polymer science/formulation development.
  • •Hands-on experience with laboratory or manufacturing environments and knowledge of photovoltaic device theory, materials science, process engineering, and characterization techniques.
  • •Strong project ownership and written/verbal communication skills across organizations.
