Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive delivery of software integrated into autonomous maritime products, spanning autonomy, simulation, data processing, payload integration, and decision support.
  • •Own deployed, customer-facing software-enabled solutions and optimize for delivery of value to end users.
  • •Design and implement scalable software with clear paths for architecture and capability evolution over time.
  • •Contribute to reusable software services across product lines and develop software that runs on- and off- robotic platforms.
  • •Develop and execute development processes and testing (including full lifecycle testing/monitoring) and create simulation/test fixtures; support manufacturing and deployment; mentor other software engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Engineering, a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
  • •Extensive professional experience working as a Software Engineer with one or more software domains and/or technologies of expertise.
  • •Strong systems/application programming skills including algorithms, data structures, concurrency, scaling, testing, infrastructure, and system/software design.
  • •Experience troubleshooting and analyzing remotely deployed software systems.
  • •Ability to act as the technical owner for a software service, including stakeholder engagement, requirements definition, roadmap management, design/implementation/sustainment, and team coordination.
