  • •Establish engineering standards and refine product development workflows; champion DFM, failure analysis, and design tool best practices.
  • •Partner with Program Management, Quality, Industrial Design, and Manufacturing to hit roadmap milestones and clear critical escalations and blockers.
  • •Engage global suppliers, JDMs, and Contract Manufacturers across all phases of the product lifecycle to deliver complex mechanisms.

Key Requirements

  • •12+ years in mechanical design engineering with 4+ years leading engineering teams.
  • •B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • •Proven ability guiding teams from concept to launch and defining design/tool release processes.
  • •Strong foundation in manufacturing methods including injection molding, stamping, welding, casting, and machining, plus test/measurement fixturing.
  • •Experience with FEA, power transmission systems (drive belts, pulleys, bearings), process engineering, or QMS.
