Job Summary

Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation for enterprise point-of-sale and customer engagement platforms. Partner with Engineering, Product, Support, and Customer Success to identify documentation needs, fill knowledge gaps, and continuously improve knowledge management. Own documentation planning, tool selection, QA/release readiness, and update cadences across product versions while structuring content for easy navigation for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop, maintain, and continuously improve the quality of technical documentation.
•Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Support, and Customer Success to identify documentation needs and close knowledge gaps.
•Identify and prioritise documentation gaps based on user needs, product releases, and stakeholder feedback.
•Select and recommend documentation tools, content management systems, and publishing methods, and establish QA processes for release.
•Structure content architecture, determine review/update cadences, and decide when to involve SMEs or escalate needs as appropriate.

Key Requirements

•Proven experience in technical writing or digital documentation, ideally with some programming or technical background.
•Ability and appetite to upskill across different technologies and methodologies.
•Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills across teams.
•Proven ability to independently research complex technical topics and produce audience-appropriate content.
•Familiarity with documentation tools such as Confluence, Git, Markdown, or XML-based editors.
