Key Responsibilities

  • •Own product features end-to-end across Nexus and Fireworks platform, including routing, FireConnect integrations, cost observability, enterprise controls, developer console/API surfaces, model playground, fine-tuning workflows, and billing.
  • •Build the routing and migration layer that scores request difficulty in real time and routes routine work to open models while passing hard tasks through to existing providers.
  • •Make adoption frictionless by extending FireConnect and Anthropic- and OpenAI-compatible APIs, improving caching and infrastructure paths to deliver material cost savings.
  • •Work across the full stack (React/TypeScript, Python/Go, APIs, data layers) to ship production-quality product surfaces for technical users.
  • •Partner with Infrastructure, Applied Research, Growth, Data, and Design; instrument and iterate based on developer usage to remove friction.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 200,000 - 300,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years as a software engineer building and shipping user-facing products.
  • •Strong full-stack skills across frontend (React/TypeScript) and backend (Python, Go or similar), plus APIs and databases.
  • •Experience shipping developer-facing products (APIs, dashboards, consoles, CLIs, or developer tools).
  • •End-to-end ownership from scoping ambiguous problems through deploying fixes under pressure.
  • •Strong product instincts focused on developer experience and operating with high velocity and pragmatic trade-offs.
