Job Summary

Provide senior technical leadership across enterprise Snowflake implementations, owning delivery from design through deployment, stabilization, and optimization. Work hands-on on high-risk components and lead technical workstreams, advising solution design decisions around scalability, performance, security, maintainability, and cost. Define engineering standards and ingestion/transformation patterns, troubleshoot complex production issues, and guide teams through practical technical leadership and knowledge transfer.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead engineering of enterprise Snowflake data platforms and data products from design through deployment, stabilization, and optimization.
•Take hands-on ownership of complex or high-risk Snowflake implementation components and lead technical workstreams.
•Contribute to solution design and evaluate decisions for scalability, performance, security, maintainability, operational supportability, and cost.
•Define and apply engineering standards, reusable patterns, reference solutions, and accelerators.
•Drive performance tuning and cost optimization while supporting deployment, production stabilization, and troubleshooting; provide technical leadership and knowledge transfer to delivery teams.

Key Requirements

•Strong practical production experience delivering multiple enterprise-scale Snowflake implementations into production.
•Deep hands-on expertise across Snowflake platform architecture/configuration, Snowpipe, Streams and Tasks, Dynamic Tables, stored procedures, Snowflake Scripting, and advanced SQL.
•Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex implementation and production issues across ingestion, transformation, modeling, integration, SQL workloads, warehouse configuration, compute utilization, security, and platform operations.
•Experience implementing secure governance for sensitive/regulated data, including RBAC, Secure Views, Secure Data Sharing, and environment/production access management.
•Strong SQL and data engineering capability, with experience explaining technical trade-offs across scalability, performance, security, maintainability, operational complexity, and cost.
