Job Summary

Lead the Building Services team with strategic and operational direction across a national sector view. Drive exceptional outcomes for clients and stakeholders, maximizing commercial and project performance. Coach and build an inspiring performance culture, and take a leading role in key strategic projects across Aotearoa New Zealand. Provide technical leadership, guide day-to-day design through verification and review, and deliver project directorship including scoping and commercial risk management.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide strategic and operational leadership to the Building Services group, embedding a national sector view and promoting visibility for clients and people.
•Drive exceptional client and stakeholder outcomes, maximizing commercial and project performance.
•Lead performance culture and coach people using strong performance and talent management practices.
•Take a leading role in delivery of key or strategic projects, including project directorship and technical leadership.
•Lead design on projects and programmes through day-to-day design guidance, verification and review; scope work and provide commercial leadership (contracts, risk, variations, cash management, and sub-consultancy arrangements).

Key Requirements

•A recognised tertiary qualification.
•CPEng or equivalent.
•Minimum of 15 years professional experience in Building Services.
•7-10 years experience in a senior people or project leadership role.
•Extensive experience developing and implementing business plans, with senior project management experience focused on commercial outcomes and risk management.
