Key Responsibilities

  • •Translate the omics platform product vision into a multi-quarter roadmap for molecular data consumption and analytics in partnership with the Head of Product.
  • •Define end-to-end researcher and developer experiences for querying, analyzing, and extracting insights from omics data at scale, including distributed compute workflows and domain-specific APIs.
  • •Specify integration/interoperability requirements connecting the omics platform to enterprise analytics environments and ecosystem platforms, including GUI experiences and consumption-layer APIs.
  • •Define agent-ready analytics API and data structure requirements to support agentic users executing complex bioinformatics workflows.
  • •Lead execution for an engineering pod by authoring epics and user stories with acceptance criteria and tracking initiative health, while communicating insights to senior leadership.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years in product management with platform or infrastructure experience, including data warehousing and distributed analytics frameworks (Spark, Trino, DuckDB, BigQuery, or similar).
  • •Platform and technical depth: fluency in distributed compute concepts and API design for technical users; comfortable engaging in system architecture and API discussions.
  • •Experience across both zero-to-one and mature products, including shipping new products and operating products with ongoing customer obligations.
  • •Demonstrated cross-functional influence and alignment across engineering, security, domain experts, and commercial teams.
  • •Strong executive communication skills for board-ready narratives from technical and commercial ambiguity; regulated data environments and life sciences/genomics experience are strongly preferred.
