Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate flatbed truck capacity to support sales order fulfillment timelines and report capacity shortfalls that could impact deliveries.
  • •Run monthly UAE flatbed truck transportation auctions on SCH, coordinate with transporters on availability/capacity, and communicate transporter performance/capacity issues.
  • •Conduct commercial negotiations for Export via Fujairah/Sohar, coordinate export transporter capacity/route availability, and flag inland trucking constraints affecting vessel discharge or container evacuation.
  • •Hand over awarded auction results (rates, transporters, routes) for contract issuance and SAP rate upload; support invoice verification by providing awarded rate data as requested.
  • •Improve truck contracts on an ongoing basis from safety, commercial, and operational perspectives and update the Manager on transporter capacity risks or auction irregularities.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
  • •Shipping and Logistics Diploma/Certificate from a recognized institute.
  • •3+ years of experience in land transportation, logistics, or auction/tender processes.
  • •Ability to coordinate on flatbed truck capacity to support sales order fulfillment timelines.
  • •Strong communication in Arabic and English to manage auctions, negotiations, and stakeholder updates.
