Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Humanities sessions aligned to the Curriculum and students’ needs.
  • •Organize classroom provision and learning resources; create displays to support learning.
  • •Use assessments to track student development with Target Tracker and adapt planning, provision, and interventions.
  • •Take responsibility for class progress and provide feedback to parents/carers at Parent Teacher Conferences and other meetings.
  • •Follow the school’s behaviour policy and manage classes effectively; contribute to wider school life, including curriculum action groups and running a weekly ECA each term.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related subject with PGCE (or equivalent teaching qualification).
  • •Teaching experience in the English National Curriculum.
  • •Ability to teach across the age and ability range with proven success.
  • •Experience of teaching the UK National Curriculum.
  • •Commitment to continuing professional development (CPD) and ability to work under pressure, problem-solve, and be resilient.
