Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform or lead transmission planning studies including power flow/contingency, short circuit, dynamic stability, critical clearing time, reactive power, and TPL-001 assessments.
  • •Execute project tasks aligned to scope, schedule, and budget requirements.
  • •Prepare reports documenting assumptions, findings, and recommendations.
  • •Conduct quality control reviews of work produced by others.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • •Engineer in Training Certification.
  • •7 to 10 years of direct experience performing steady state contingency and stability analysis of large power system networks, including required files and deliverables.
  • •Hands-on experience with multiple power system software packages such as PSS/E (including PSS/MUST), PSLF, DSA Tools, TARA, PowerWorld, ASPEN, and/or PSCAD.
  • •Must reside and work within the United States.
