Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure aircraft parking stands and aprons are free from contamination, FOD, debris, and other hazards; inspect and report FODs or abnormal events to the Shift Leader.
  • •Monitor orderly parking of ground services equipment and control vehicle movements and speed on service roads; enforce procedures and take corrective action for violations.
  • •Assist in supervising apron cleaning, managing airside emergency staging and RVP control, and supporting safe passenger/staff evacuation with fire wardens.
  • •Conduct inspections and reporting of movement area and maneuvering area conditions (including perimeter fence inspections) and respond to/report fuel/oil spills.
  • •Provide and record follow-me escort/marshalling services, perform stand operation checklists before aircraft arrival, and coordinate safe aircraft parking with APOC and BAS including stand inspection and VDGS operation when equipped.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma accepted with at least 2 years of airport operations experience (or a bachelor’s degree desirable in Aviation or Business Administration with 0–2 years experience).
  • •Sound knowledge of national and international civil aviation standards and recommended practices.
  • •Ability to perform airside inspection and reporting for FODs, abnormal events, and movement area conditions.
  • •Ability to monitor and enforce procedures for vehicle movements and speed on inner and outer service roads, including corrective action.
  • •Ability to support follow-me escort, marshalling, stand operation checklists, and vehicle permit issuance through airport systems.
