Job Summary

Lead UK installation engineering operations for Fuse Energy, scaling domestic installation capability across solar, EV chargers, heat pumps and battery systems. Serve as the primary technical authority for the domestic fleet, drive robust quality assurance frameworks, onboarding and training programs, and ensure UK regulations, MCS standards and health and safety policies are met. Collaborate cross-functionally on next‑generation hardware and product specifications, building a culture of technical excellence and safety within the engineering team.

Job Function: Energy & Utilities Operations

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and manage UK renewable installation operations, supervising a team of junior and senior field engineers.
•Act as the primary technical authority for the domestic fleet, handling complex technical escalations and ensuring field engineering decisions remain robust and compliant.
•Establish and refine robust quality assurance frameworks, review processes, and field audits to maintain an elite standard of installation quality.
•Overhaul and manage the onboarding, continuous training, and monitoring programs to ensure our entire installing fleet is highly qualified and compliant.
•Oversee domestic installations and commissioning across multiple technologies, ensuring full compliance with UK regulations, MCS standards, and health and safety policies.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 3–5 years of experience leading and managing distributed electrical or renewable installation teams.
•Fully qualified electrician with relevant UK qualifications (NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition, or equivalent) and qualified to act as an Electrical Qualified Supervisor.
•Proven experience with the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of domestic Solar PV, EV charge points, and Heat Pump systems.
•Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to mentor engineers and maintain high performance under tight timelines.
•Comprehensive knowledge of UK electrical regulations, health and safety protocols, and MCS compliance.
