Job Summary

Serve as a weekday day-shift Carbon area technician, turning process observations into practical improvements. Perform audits, measurements, sampling, and observations across shifts, analyze results, and report findings in spreadsheets or summaries. Investigate and help correct process issues to improve stability and support troubleshooting. Partner with hourly workforce, supervisors, maintenance, production, and support teams on shift planning, process control, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform process audits, observations, measurements, and sampling across Carbon areas, ensuring required data is captured consistently across shifts.
•Analyze audit and sample results, convert findings into score samples/spreadsheets/summaries, and share results with supervision and the process team.
•Investigate, diagnose, and help correct process issues to improve process stability and support hourly employees with troubleshooting.
•Partner with supervisors, operators, maintenance, production, management, and support organizations to support shift planning, work schedules, process control, and continuous improvement.
•Provide practical feedback to operators and supervisors on process control performance and opportunities for improvement.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED required.
•Strong computer and digital literacy, including Microsoft Office, and the ability to organize and summarize audit or sample data in spreadsheets or similar tools.

•Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and complete scheduled audits and samples reliably.
•Effective interpersonal and communication skills to share findings with operators, supervisors, and the process team, and to raise issues early.
