Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform routine inspections (process, metal detection, cooking, and chilling) to ensure products meet quality standards.
  • •Drive continuous improvement by addressing deficiencies, identifying root causes, and supporting QA programs.
  • •Help develop and enforce HACCP programs by monitoring critical control points throughout production.
  • •Ensure USDA regulatory requirements and sanitation procedures are met, including documentation updates and pre-op sanitation checks.
  • •Report food safety issues, recommend corrective actions, and support training on deficiencies.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or general education degree (GED), required.
  • •For internal candidates, 4+ years of experience may allow waiver of educational requirements.
  • •Demonstrate knowledge of quality assurance principles, food science, meat processing, and USDA regulations.
  • •Create, interpret, and maintain technical documents, reports, and manuals; communicate effectively in written and verbal form.
  • •Use monitoring equipment, analyze data, and respond to regulatory or customer inquiries with evidence-based decisions.
