Key Responsibilities

•Participate in a team environment, working closely with Project Coordinators, other Project Managers, Senior Project Directors/Technical Leads and Field Technicians/Scientists/Engineers.
•Prepare Health and Safety plans and Emergency response plans.
•Prepare proposals and cost estimates, schedule field staff and subcontractors, and write reports with conclusions and recommendations.
•Be responsible for project accounting, tracking and reporting requirements under WSP’s Master Services Agreements.
•Train junior staff in environmental practices including Phase I and II ESAs, drilling, surveying, groundwater sampling, oversight of remediation, and site-specific health and safety.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 93,700 - 124,200 annually

Key Requirements

•University degree or diploma in engineering, or natural/earth sciences
•Minimum 10 years of experience in contaminated site assessments and conceptual site models of Upstream oil and gas sites
•Experience working in the north is preferred
•Sound understanding of the need for health and safety procedures in the workplace
•Professional designation with eligibility to register in NWT and Yukon is preferred
