Key Responsibilities

  • •Own and ship improvements to the API Explorer and API Designer that customers notice.
  • •Define a technical roadmap for the OAS-powered surfaces and build alignment across the team.
  • •Make big architectural calls to evolve OpenAPI-related surfaces and capabilities.
  • •Stay ahead of the API tooling curve and anticipate shifts in the landscape to keep ReadMe ahead.
  • •Collaborate across product and platform teams to design end-to-end API tooling experiences.

Key Requirements

  • •OpenAPI (OAS) experience and Swagger familiarity
  • •Strong JavaScript/TypeScript experience
  • •Experience building or working with API explorers or API clients
  • •Understanding of authentication flows (OAuth, API keys, SSO), REST API design patterns, JSON Schema and validation
  • •Comfort debugging real API requests and frontend familiarity (React)
