Process teller transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and cashing negotiable instruments while promoting the bank’s products and services. Operate an online teller terminal, examine documents for endorsements and negotiability, and process transfers and cashier’s checks. Balance and verify cash daily with prompt discrepancy resolution, maintain customer information privacy, and follow teller procedures and compliance requirements. Support client service and accurate recordkeeping.

•Process deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments, and cash checks and other negotiable instruments.
•Examine documents for endorsements and negotiability, and process transfers between accounts.
•Sell traveler’s checks, official checks, and money orders; process credit card cash advances.
•Verify and balance cash daily, detect and resolve discrepancies promptly, and follow teller procedures and compliance requirements.
•Provide excellent customer service by representing the bank professionally, maintaining privacy of customer information, and offering other bank products.

Key Requirements

•High school graduate or equivalent.
•Understanding of bank operations is preferred.
•At least one year of related experience/cash handling preferred; previous Teller experience preferred.
•Good communication skills and professional appearance, dress, and attitude.
•Good math skills and typing skills, with ability to operate related computer applications and business equipment.
