Job Summary

Operate dump trucks (end dumps and/or belly dumps, with and without pups/trailers and tarping systems) to deliver aggregates, asphalt, and other materials to residential and commercial locations. Use two-way radio communication, back and maneuver with a pup trailer, connect/disconnect trailers, and safely operate equipment while following verbal and written instructions. Maintain time and material records and demonstrate knowledge of aggregate types and sizes.

Key Responsibilities

•Safely and efficiently operate dump trucks, including end dumps and/or belly dumps (with and without pup trailers) and tarping systems.
•Deliver aggregates, asphalt, and other materials to residential and commercial locations.
•Maintain accurate time and material records.
•Follow verbal and written instructions.
•Communicate effectively on the radio system and perform maneuvering/backing, including connecting and disconnecting pup trailers.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED required, with 1 to 2 years related experience and/or training (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
•Must possess a valid state commercial driver’s license (CDL) Class A or Class B with appropriate endorsements.
•Must possess a valid Medical Card as per DOT standard.
•Thorough operational knowledge and skills of end dumps and/or belly dumps (with and without pups) and related equipment.
•Ability to communicate using two-way radio, including backing/maneuvering and connecting/disconnecting a pup trailer.
