Job Summary

Lead white-glove support for customers adopting cloud solutions under VA’s Data Modernization initiative. Architect, maintain, and expand custom-developed ServiceNow applications, building connected front- and back-end components that integrate with legacy systems. Diagnose and troubleshoot production issues, work with Product Owners and Scrum Teams to refine requirements and stories, and act as a subject matter expert for cloud migration. Build a best-practices knowledge base and support workgroups through feedback and center-of-excellence calls.

Key Responsibilities

•Architect, maintain, and expand custom-developed ServiceNow applications, building front- and back-end components that interconnect ServiceNow functions with legacy systems.
•Diagnose and troubleshoot ServiceNow production application issues.
•Collaborate with Product Owners and Scrum Teams on requirements decomposition, backlog refinement, and breaking down user stories and tasks.
•Act as an intake subject matter expert for workgroups migrating to the cloud and build out a best-practices knowledge base.
•Manage competing priorities and multiple parallel projects, providing ongoing progress reporting and support through feedback and center of excellence calls.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 175,000 - 185,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in IT/engineering/technical discipline plus 12 years of experience (experience may substitute for the degree).
•5+ years of experience with ServiceNow and the Now Platform (ITSM, App Engine, and/or Integration Hub).
•Expertise with Azure or other major cloud platforms.
•Strong knowledge of data lake architectures, especially Delta Lake or similar structured storage solutions.
•Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and document processes (including building standard operating procedures).
