Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs on vehicles in a mobile/field environment.
  • •Diagnose, adjust, and repair truck equipment across mechanical, electrical, brake/cooling, HVAC, starters/alternators, steering, engines, transmissions, clutches, and differentials.
  • •Inspect, test, and road test vehicles to diagnose malfunctions and ensure proper operation.
  • •Maintain and reconcile parts inventory and equipment on the company-issued service truck, and manage assigned tasks and daily schedule independently.
  • •Document work per company standards, upload repair details via the iOS device/TRAIT application, complete DOT forms, and comply with OSHA/EPA/DOT safety regulations.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience in a related field (or an equivalent combination of education/certification or 5 years’ experience).
  • •Possess and supply a set of hand tools necessary to perform the job duties.
  • •Obtain ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
  • •Complete and pass DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening and DOT physical (or submit a DOT medical card with more than 4 months remaining).
  • •Be at least 21 years or older; have a valid driver’s license and be able to obtain/maintain a Driver Qualification File.
