Key Responsibilities

•Lead the electrical design of complex healthcare facilities, including acute care, outpatient, and specialized treatment spaces.
•Develop power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, nurse call, communication, grounding, and emergency/backup systems aligned with CSA healthcare standards.
•Oversee project delivery from concept through construction, ensuring quality, technical accuracy, and client satisfaction.
•Collaborate closely with mechanical, structural, ICT, and architectural partners to deliver coordinated and buildable designs.
•Provide mentorship and technical guidance to intermediate and junior electrical team members.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 114,600 - 151,800 annually

Key Requirements

•10+ years of electrical engineering experience, with at least 5 years focused on healthcare facilities
•P.Eng. designation (or eligibility) in British Columbia
•Expertise in CSA healthcare electrical systems and standards (CSA Z32, CSA Z8000)
•Strong proficiency with engineering design software and digital coordination tools (e.g., Revit, BIM 360)
•Demonstrated experience delivering multidisciplinary building projects from planning through construction
