Job Summary

Oversee daily QC activities across concrete hardscape and masonry plants in your region, including process and final product inspections, scheduling support personnel, and reporting quality improvements and recurring defects to leadership. Manage formula and mix design accuracy, quality control and assurance standards, QA testing, and coordination of finished goods and raw-material testing. Lead root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and training for QC personnel to ensure goals are met on schedule and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

•Oversee daily QC functions, including process inspections and final product inspections, and report quality concerns and improvement opportunities to leadership.
•Ensure formula and mix design accuracy across plants and maintain formulas to produce quality products efficiently.
•Build and maintain quality control processes and quality assurance programs; monitor QA testing and provide updates to leadership.
•Coordinate required testing for finished goods and raw materials, and evaluate raw materials.
•Conduct root cause analysis for poor test results and customer complaints; develop corrective actions and train plant QC personnel and machine operators as needed.

Key Requirements

•Familiarity with ASTM and CSA specifications related to concrete products and raw materials.
•Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and costs to maximize procurement, manufacture, and distribution.
•Ability to apply business and management principles for strategic planning, resource allocation, and leadership technique.
•Knowledge of production methods and coordination of people and resources.
•Travel requirements up to 50% (bilingual preferred: English, French, Spanish).
