Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage, plan and lead engineering design projects for water/wastewater infrastructure systems including treatment, collection, distribution, pumping and storage.
  • •Support regional business development activities and manage a portfolio of clients with multiple projects.
  • •Supervise mid-to-junior level engineers and project administration, scheduling, cost control, estimating and procurement representatives.
  • •Ensure project completion on time, within budget and within scope; develop estimates for engineering budgets and schedules.
  • •Lead client relationships, perform risk management and provide technical input for staff in your area of expertise.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 150,000 - 190,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •BS Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or related degree + 8 years of water/wastewater engineering experience or an equivalency
  • •Proven experience managing engineering design projects for water/wastewater infrastructure systems including treatment, collection, distribution, pumping and storage
  • •Professional Engineer license, with ability to obtain Virginia PE within 1 year of hiring
  • •Solid knowledge of MS Office Suite and scheduling software (Microsoft Project or P6)
  • •Preferred: Virginia PE license, 12+ years of related experience and knowledge of permitting regulations (federal/state/local) and drafting/design software (AutoCAD, Civil3D, Revit)
