Key Responsibilities

•Lead the DBA domain for Vue PACS and RIS, owning the data layer and database strategy that supports the PACS architecture and customer install base
•Provide strong technical leadership and influence across teams, aligning DBA work and driving execution with focus on timelines, quality and delivery
•Drive key database architecture, scalability, performance, reliability and high-availability decisions across the full product lifecycle
•Act as the central technical point of contact for DBA topics, supporting architecture, infrastructure planning, production support and critical escalations
•Champion automation, scripting, AI-based tools, observability and engineering best practices, including migration toward AWS and Linux

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent
•10+ years of Oracle Database expertise with administration, production support, and performance optimization
•Extensive experience managing large-scale Oracle databases (10TB+ to 100TB+) with sharding, partitioning, and horizontal scaling
•Strong expertise in Oracle backup, recovery, high-availability solutions (RMAN, PITR, DR planning)
•Advanced database performance engineering skills (data modeling, indexing, query optimization, AWR interpretation, capacity planning, memory management, workload tuning)
